LOCATION
The guesthouse lies in the heart of the Corbières, in a little village called Serviès-en-Val.
At 22 kms away you will find the town of Carcassonne. This city is famous for the Cité de Carcassonne, a medieval fortress restored by the theorist and architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc in 1853 and added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997 and closeby you can visit Lagrasse, listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France.
THE B&B
The studio is located on the ground floor of the house (rear) and is part of a former inn that has been completely restored. It comprises a spacious entrance of 9 square meters with a sofa bed (two children) and wardrobe, a kitchen of 8 square meters with Italian shower and toilet and a spacious living/dining room of 38 square meters with two sofas including one convertible sofa bed (for two), a few chairs, a dining room design and a private terrace of 12 square meters facing south. The laundry room with washer and dryer is also available on request. The studio offers free WiFi, home cinema system with satellite channels, and kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher and fridge for six people. There is also an electric fire and coffee.
SWIMMING POOL
From April until late October you also have access to the swimming pool of 8 meters long and 4 meters wide. The swimming pool is filled with spring water and well maintained and the sundeck of 12 square meters (to be shared with the owners when present).
OTHER
There is also a barbecue at your disposal. In the village there is a butcher, a bakery, a grocery store, a wine cellar, a goat cheese producer. There are, of course, several vintners in the village and the surrounding area.
