“Respect for places” regulations

The guest house is not a place freely open to the public. He is a host who welcomes you into his home. There may also

be other travelers under the same roof. This is why we invite you to take advantage of all the living spaces at your

disposal in a friendly manner and respecting everyone's privacy.

 

For the comfort and tranquility of all, we regret not being able to accommodate animals in the rooms.

 

The rooms :

 

The rooms are not intended for doing laundry or eating meals... A flat screen television with TNT is available to visitors in each of the rooms, the sound must be moderated from 10 p.m.

 

Visitors can also access WiFi for free. Illegal downloading is prohibited.

 

While it is traditional for visitors to put away bedding, belongings and clothes, their hosts carry out a cleanliness inspection every day, particularly to empty the bins and change the linen if necessary. Heavy soiling will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

Valuable objects (jewelry, multimedia devices, various means of payment, etc.) must not be left in rooms or in parked vehicles, as guests decline all responsibility in the event of the disappearance of these objects.

 

General provisions :

 

Noise

 

From 10 p.m., as required by law, excessive noise will not be tolerated.

 

Alcohol abuse

 

The consumption of alcohol is not prohibited, but please in moderation. The lodging is located in a guest room where there would be other visitors passing through. You are your own responsible person regarding alcohol consumption.

 

If this consumption becomes more of an alcohol abuse with symptoms of drunkenness on several occasions we would be obliged to take measures.

 

Smoking and vaping

 

In compliance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, smoking and vaping is prohibited in places for collective use.

 

The entire establishment, including rooms, is therefore non-smoking and non-vaping.

 

As part of the protection of minors, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under 18 years of age.

 

On the terrace, ashtrays are at your disposal. It is forbidden to throw loot on the ground.

 

Decent outfit

 

We ask our guests to present decent attire on all occasions, except in summer a swimsuit is accepted as decent attire, and to be dressed and shod when moving around the common areas.

 

WI-FI access

 

Internet access. Customers have free access to the ‘Ours des Corbières internet connection without paying direct compensation. You acknowledge using the OURSDESCORBIERES wifi internet connection during your stay.

 

Usage limit. You agree not to use this connection subsequently, nor transmit or communicate the access codes to anyone. Access is only possible in areas covered by wifi.

 

You declare on your honor not to use the connection for activities or purposes that are reprehensible, immoral or could give rise to our liability: in particular to send, receive or access content that is illegal under French law. In particular with regard to the rules relating to intellectual property and cybercrime. The use of peer-to-peer software is strictly prohibited.

 

In the event of a dispute or investigation we may transmit your personal information to the competent persons, which you hereby accept.

 

Network responsibility. You are solely responsible for the use you make of your equipment, or its activities on our network, in particular with regard to other customers.

 

You agree to incur the risks associated with the use of a wifi network and an internet connection, you are advised to increase the level of protection of your firewall and your antivirus.

 

Pool rules:

 

⦁ Use of the swimming pool: As part of the French regulations on the use of family swimming pools open to guests (objective: to avoid accidents to which children are victims) and with the aim of allowing harmonious use, these swimming pool regulations have been elaborated.

 

⦁ The owners remind all their customers of the lack of surveillance of the swimming pool

 

⦁ As the swimming pool is a family swimming pool, its use is reserved only for members of the owners' family and for people staying in guest rooms and gîtes which belong to the establishment.

 

⦁ Any child under 13 years old, unaccompanied by an adult parent, is not authorized to access the swimming pool area. Use of the swimming pool by children is under the full supervision and responsibility of their parents.

 

⦁ All noisy games, all throwing objects are prohibited in and around the pool, diving and jumping from the edge are prohibited.

 

⦁ Pool users undertake:

 

⦁ take a shower before bathing and avoid bathing after using sun cream or oil. A solar shower is at your disposal on the pool terrace

 

⦁ to access the swimming pool area wearing sandals suitable for this purpose (no street shoes).

 

⦁ to use a swimsuit reserved solely for swimming use.

 

⦁ not to bring food there. Drinks are accepted but only in cardboard or recycled plastic cups.

 

⦁ Glasses and any other glass or porcelain objects are strictly prohibited on the pool terrace

 

⦁ the swimming pool area is open to guests from 10 a.m. to midnight, we decline all responsibility in the event of non-use for swimming.

 

⦁ Please close the Access door to the swimming pool after entering and when leaving the terrace

 

⦁ any user of the swimming pool must be covered by Civil Liability defense and recourse insurance.

 

⦁ the owner, upon repeated breaches of one of the articles, may withdraw the authorization for access to the swimming pool area that he has previously granted without any compensation whatsoever.

 

Terrace and barbecue

 

The large terrace downstairs is at your disposal to relax or smoke or have an aperitif. Please note that the small terrace below the wooden deck is not at your disposal. It is part of the gîte downstairs.

 

On the terrace there is a weber barbecue. This barbecue is at your disposal; you can use it with charcoal (it's up to you to provide them for your consumption) or you can use a few small pieces of wood from the pile located on the pool terrace. Please note that in times of strong wind or drought the barbecue cannot be used.

 

Each user is expected to clean the barbecue and utensils after use.

 

When you leave

 

The customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, and financially assume, any possible damage for which he may be responsible.

 

Children growing up on the property are the sole responsibility of their parents.

 

Eco-tourism:

 

L’Ours des Corbières is sensitive to the protection of our planet and wishes to contribute to the protection of the environment by minimizing the footprint of the operation of its reception structure.

 

Simple and light measures can go a long way.

 

We are therefore counting on your collaboration to:

 

⦁ avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily,

 

⦁ do not let the water run and moderate the flow during showers,

 

⦁ avoid using all the towels made available to you if you do not really need them.
